Tomorrow Rei and I will be moving into our new home! :) I have both tomorrow (unpaid) and Tuesday (paid) off to help Rei, Cathy and Sheila get things in and unpacked. The furniture is being delivered tomorrow and the utilities are all turned on. Our Fios service isn't being installed until Tuesday, but hopefully we can find some Wifi to leech off of until it's on.
Like Rei said a few days ago, we've got a lot of fun and fond memories here. Meeting one another for the first time is obviously at the top of the list! :) I know that my coming into Rei's life was really great for her. That just my being around has made such a monumental difference in her life is the greatest thing I've ever felt. I love her more each day and will continue to do so until I die. But she is the greatest thing to ever happen to me, too.
Before I met her, I hated my life. I'd go to work and get treated nicely by Janice and everyone else, and I loved that. But then (especially around the holidays) their family members and significant others would come in or send things and I'd just get jealous, depressed, and go home and cry. If I wasn't home alone, which happened a lot, I'd go home and get verbally abused for the most ridiculous things. There were a couple times when I didn't even bother going home. I'd just tell Janice that I had things to finish up and I would close up when I was done, then I'd sleep in her office.
I love coming home now! To Rei, the furry babies, it just feels nice. :) And now we're gonna have a nice big house to ourselves and it's gonna be even better! I can't wait!
