Vacation Begins! :)

So today was our first full day here and I think we made the most of it! Rei and I went to a little cafe downtown for lunch and we ate outside. It was a really nice lunch, quiet and peaceful. There aren't a ton of tourists here yet, so that definitely helps. I saw a few people I know, most of whom are older (like my parents/slightly younger) and they were all happy to meet Rei and congratulated us on getting married. :)

After lunch, we took the drive to Castle Farms!

It is seriously one of the prettiest places I've ever been and again, the lack of tourists made it that much more enjoyable. We walked around the gardens, which are starting to come in nicely, and we explored the main building/castle. It's a lot to cover in one visit and Rei's legs were getting sore, so we didn't see everything, but it was nice and maybe we can go back another time. :)

My folks are about to go out for the evening, so the real fun is about to begin!
