Yay!

I am home for the weekend and it's only 11:00 AM! I was just sitting at my desk when I heard a loud crash followed by an explosion moments later. Then the power went out! I ran outside and sure enough, a car had plowed into a utility pole. I called 911 and the electric company and then proceeded to listen to Janice have a hissy fit.

When they'd gotten the woman who hit the pole out of her car and rushed her away, the crew from the electric company told Janice and I that it was a mess and it could be a while before the power was restored. Janice was not happy about it, but she sent everyone home.

She's lost a lot of money since all this snow crap began. The business isn't in danger of going under or anything, she just really likes the green stuff. :p

Going to see Miss Rei shortly. I told Cathy not to tell her about work letting out early so I could surprise her. :)
