Wolfed down a ham and cheese sandwich with mustard, small bag of chips and a chocolate chip cookie bar in about 10 minutes. Girl's gotta eat! So busy today! I've been placing orders for everything from office supplies, to fabrics and even a several thousand dollar sewing machine. Yeah, it's tempting to buy things for myself on the company account. lol Top that off with some woman coming in here with a whole bridal party (Super Sized! Did I say that?) and its been complete chaos. I felt bad making Kevin (my mangirlfriend UPS guy) wait forever while I was organizing a bill for the herd. Why do they try to haggle with me? I don't set the rates. Ugh.
Took a quick selfie before I logged in and a pic of my latest nail design. I did the design last night. No time to play nail polish today.

Condensed comment: that's awful about poor Rei. :( I'm texting her now, and it definitely sounds like she has a secondary bacterial infection that requires antibiotics. The sooner she gets seen, the better. Also: you are just too cute for words. I am in awe of your nail polish skills.

ReplyDeleteTaking her tomorrow, Adra! She's so damn tired and cold and it's terrible outside. I insisted that she take a few extra meds and just to sleep as much as she can. My boss and the person I work with most, Janice, has been incredibly gracious about this. When I got home and saw how bad she was, I called her. She has a meeting that she absolutely cannot miss, so I have to go in. But when it's over, she's letting me take the rest of the day off and paying me for the whole day. Should be back here to take her by 12:30-1:00 PM tomorrow and I'll text you from the hospital. Rei, I'd spank your bony little ass if you weren't sick! :p XOXO
